ABOUT THE SHOW
In the 2024 edition, Fashion Hong Kong at CENTRESTAGE will consist of a Fashion Hong Kong Designer Showcase at the Palace Museum (Sept 3), a Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show (Sept 4-7, date TBC) and a Fashion Hong Kong display at HKCEC (Sept 4-7).
To highlight Hong Kong as a vibrant cultural art hub, a new theme “In the Mood for Fashion” has been introduced this year to showcase the strength of Hong Kong fashion designer labels in advocating an integrated collaborative approach between the two arts and cultural sectors of Fashion and Film industries. Selected designers will be invited to collaborate closely with a Hong Kong film director throughout the project.
Interested designers/brands to participate in the runway show are invited to submit this online application on or before 12 Jun 2024 (Wednesday). Shortlisted finalists will be contacted and invited to attend a physical vetting panel in mid-Jun 2024.
Among the finalists, the top 4 applicants will each present 8-12 outfits from their new collection in the Runway Show, where the top 10 of the finalists will be invited to showcase 1-2 showpiece(s) of their previous/current collections at the Fashion Hong Kong Designer Showcase at the Palace Museum on Sept 3.
