Hong Kong-born fashion designer Kathy Lam graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2011 with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design Technology Womenswear. She is fascinated by aesthetic prints and textile designs. These and pure originality are the essences of her designs.

Kathy Lam Studio was established in 2014, the brand’s main philosophy is to project traditional oriental beauty in a contemporary style, it is a continuation of Kathy's graduation work "blue & white porcelain", which used blue and white to create a women’s collection. Since 2014, Kathy Lam Studio has launched four pret-a-porter women’s collection, and she has been invited by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to showcase her Spring/Summer 2016 collection in Tokyo Fashion Week and Paris International Fashion Fair. In 2016, Zalora, the leading international fashion group in Asia, has awarded Kathy with the "Designer of the Year" award.
