29 January 2015 - Three renowned Hong Kong fashion designers, Doris Kath Chan, KOYO William and Seth Yeung took part in the prestigious Copenhagen Fashion Week. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Hong Kong' s participation included a dazzling Fashion Hong Kong group show at Copenhagen City Hall on 29 January, the only show presenting Asian Designers during Copenhagen Fashion Week. The celebrated Hong Kong designers, whose brands are already well established in international markets, showcased their Autumn/Winter 2015 collections at the fashion week. Evening wear designer, Doris Kath Chan presented her "Timeless Tale" collection which was a blend of modern and classical characteristics; High Street fashion designer, KOYO William' s "Gothic Techno" collection used Gothic Rock as its core design element; Knitwear and fur designer Seth Young ' s "Extracting" collection based on the philosophy of "composition follows decomposition". Hong Kong is regarded as a fashion capital of Asia, well-respected for its design talent, high quality products and international outlook. The Fashion Hong Kong catwalk show was an unmissable opportunity for trade buyers and the media to learn more about Asia' s design talent and explore new business opportunities. Following the Fashion Hong Kong catwalk show today, a Pop-up Showroom will be set up tomorrow (30 January, 2015) from 10:00 to 16:00 at SKT PETRI Hotel, Krystalgade 22, Copenhagen.
