Originally from a family with a garment background, the brand's founder and creative director Sun Lam seeks to work with something unexpected and fun, with the intention of bringing these elements into the traditional clothing industry. In 2013, Sun Lam graduated with a degree in fashion technology from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Lam has won the Encouragement Prize of the 3rd International Ubiquitous Digital Fashion Design Contest from The Korean Society for Clothing Industry. Afterwards, Lam went to the United Kingdom to earn a master’s degree in Fashion Design from the Winchester School of Art, in which she graduated with distinction in 2015. Her graduate collection was chosen as a finalist in the iD Dunedin International Emerging Designer Award 2016 and was selected to participate in the showcase at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery. Lam was then selected as one of the black sheep designers for NotJustaLabel. After graduation, Lam worked with the British independent designers Martina Spelova and Roberts Wood. In 2017, Lam was selected as one of the incubatees of Hong Kong Design Centre Design Incubation Program. Lam was also chosen as New Talents for the Paris Tranoi show.
