Glori Tsui
Before becoming a fashion designer, Glori Tsui studied illustration in Art Center College of Design, Southern California. She worked for Disney on graphics for children’s wear and showcased her art pieces in different gallery shows in Los Angeles. She realised her interest in sustainable fashion design later and then furthered her study by pursuing a Master Degree in MA Fashion Design in Nottingham Trent University in the UK. During the programme, she also gained some valuable design experiences in Paul Smith. With her illustration background, her inspiration always comes from fine art paintings and is transformed into different new creations. Glori launched her label METHODOLOGY, which debuted in Lane Crawford Hong Kong in FW2012. Now METHODLOGY has expanded its footprints globally and is available in the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and the Middle East.
METHODOLOGY, a women’s fashion and accessories designer label, launched its first collection in Lane Crawford Hong Kong in FW2012. METHODOLOGY’s designs often integrate femininity and toughness, achieved by experimenting with contrasting materials, shapes and forms. Featuring multiple functions in the accessories collection, the upcycled leather material is the core element. Many of METHODOLGY’s designs are transformable and offer multiple ways to wear, encouraging you to blend your own creativity and fashion sense. METHODOLOGY girls are confident, independent, audacious, courageous yet sexy and feminine.
