Both graduated from Fashion Design of Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Yi started her career in Marie Claire as Fashion Editor. Lary worked as menswear designer in British label Kent & Curwen and Aquascutum. They found the brand HEAVEN PLEASE+ in 2011 and started their sole collection in 2012AW. The designer duos are devoted to apply their experiences outside fashion industry including arts, music, literature and so forth into their design concepts and sketches; attempting to empower fashion with insightful and perceptual values. By applying different design variations, cuttings and the craftsmanship on each of their piece, they wish to bring individuality to simple clothing, so that the looks of people can speak genuinely for themselves.

Vermillion is a brilliant red or scarlet pigment originally made from powered mineral cinnabar. Its pronunciation in Cantonese is similar to Dora's surname - Chu. Maison Vermillion reflects a mix of Eastern and Western influences and design practices. Inspired by both heritage and romanticism of the West and the delicate of Eastern accents, the look is electric, regal and empowered. The essence of the brand is rooted in rebellion and the power of the femininity. The collections are expertly constructed with couture techniques and mindsets using lace, silks, crepe de chine and contrasted with strong and bold metallic hardware.

Lulu Cheung designs a wide range of womenswear, from casual to formal wear. Her clients include Hong Kong models such as Eunice Chan and Janet Ma. Since her first runway show at Hong Kong Fashion Week in 1989, she extended her reach internationally to Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney, Australia, Beijing and Shanghai. Lulu received multiple awards, including the International Fashion Editors' Best Hong Kong Collection Award at Hong Kong Fashion Week in 1996. Lulu was named one of the Ten Outstanding Designers at the Hong Kong Art & Design Festival in 2006 and got the award "Asia Chic Star Award" in Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival, Shanghai Fashion Week in 2010. Lulu also actively participates in fashion events, being the judge of the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers' Contest in 2015 and Hong Kong Design Institute Graduation Fashion Show in 2015.

Designer Polly Ho graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and furthered her studies at the University of Central England. Prior to establishing her own brand, Polly worked for Misa Harada Millinery in London in 2003 and was a brand consultant for a number of Chinese brands. Polly launched LOOM LOOP first collection shortly after winning the corporate fashion project for the Philippe Starck-designed hotel, The South Beach in Singapore. Since winning the project, she has gone on to win the SME's Youth Entrepreneurship Award in 2015, the Design for Asia Award 2015 (Bronze), Perspective's 40 under 40 Award and HKDA Global Design Awards (Silver and Hong Kong Best) in 2016.

Cynthia Mak raised in Hong Kong with an international upbringing, Cynthia was first exposed to arts through her studies in graphics design. Later, she decided to attend the Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design to pursue her interests in design. Starting afresh in a new field, she devoted her life to learning about fashion and garment construction. Having graduated from CSM with distinction, her strong final collection also garnered praises from Italian Vogue where she was selected as a designer to watch and included her in their list of "New Talents". After working in Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Preen by Thornton, and Roksanda Illincic, she returned to her hometown and worked at various large scale luxury fashion retailers. However, her ambition remained in the line of fashion design and consequently established Cynthia & Xiao together with knitwear specialist Xiao Xiao in 2014.

Xiao Xiao born in Beijing, Xiao Xiao moved to the UK in 2002. During her earlier studies in fine arts and textiles in high school, she discovered her interest and talents in merging artwork with fashion. She then decided to further her studies at the Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. After graduation, she decided to move to the Chinese mainland to develop her career. To acquire a deeper understanding of the Chinese fashion market and to prepare herself for the launch of her own label, she worked with local Chinese design company WO square, where she gained real work experiences. After years of preparation, Xiao Xiao joined forces with Cynthia as a knitwear specialist.
